Privacy Policy

Last updated: 6 June 2026 · Applies to all Ogbara apps: How Many?, Life Grid, Couples Snakes & Ladders, and Super Snakes & Ladders.

The short version. Our apps are local-first: your data lives in your browser, on your device. We show no ads, run no third-party trackers, and never sell data. If you choose to create an account, the data needed to sync your apps is stored with our hosting provider and is accessible only to you.

What we collect without an account

Nothing personal. The apps store their working data — game progress, journal entries, reflections, photos you add, and settings — using your browser's local storage (localStorage and IndexedDB) on your own device. That data never reaches our servers. We don't use analytics services, advertising identifiers, or tracking cookies.

If you create an account

Sync is optional. If you sign in, we collect and store:

Account data is hosted by Supabase, our infrastructure provider, with per-user access rules so one account can never read another's data. We don't send you marketing email and we don't share or sell your information to anyone.

Children

How Many? is designed for young children, and we've built it so that no account is needed and no personal information is collected from children. Account and sync features are intended for parents and adults.

Your data stays yours

A note on durability

Browser storage is controlled by your device's operating system and can be cleared by it — for example, iOS may remove a website's storage after a period of not visiting unless the app is installed to your Home Screen. Installing the apps, signing in, or exporting backups protects your data; the apps will remind you when it matters.
